Getting started

Start with a small, understandable asset workflow. Learn what this reference site provides and what is still being built.

A clear starting point

This is the public reference surface for a private beta project. Documentation and a static manifest fixture are available. There is no self-service account creation, upload API, managed bucket, or live image transformation service.

Inspect the reference fixture

The fixture below is an ordinary JSON file. Replace the hostname with the hostname of this installation. It does not require an account and does not represent a live API.

curl https://YOUR_HOST/samples/manifest.json

Plan an asset release

Give each release a unique identifier and separate files that can be cached indefinitely from documents that may change. The following tree illustrates one possible project layout.

Explore the proposed platform

The next sections explain delivery paths, cache semantics, planned image workflows, and object storage boundaries. API examples are illustrative. Do not send credentials or production data to example URLs.
